Four Head of Department Vacancies
De Montfort University’s restructured and renamed Faculty of Technology offers a unique combination of professional focus and research excellence. The Faculty’s track record of success in research is demonstrated by its submission of 44 staff into four units in the Research Assessment Exercise (RAE) for 2008, where 45% of its submitted work was classed as “world leading” or “internationally excellent”.
The high quality of the Faculty’s teaching has been acknowledged in the latest results from the National Student Survey (NSS), where the Faculty showed the greatest improvement in the University. Nationally, the Faculty was placed in the top ten from over 100 institutions for overall satisfaction across Computer Science subjects.
The Faculty of Technology consists of four departments:
- Computer Technology
- Informatics
- Engineering
- Media Technology
